THANK YOU!!!

Thank you to all of the current and alumni choir members who came out last night to perform the National Anthem and Alma Mater for the Oil City VS Cancer Benefit Game last night.  It's always a wonderful thing when a community can come together and help each other.  Have a great weekend!

The proceeds from this game will be split three ways, between the family of Eric Lendrum, a 2010 alumnus who recently passed from a rare form of cancer (his wife, Abby, was a member of the choir throughout high school), the family of Colton Sutley, a current member of the bass section, who is beginning treatments to combat cancer in his lung and leg, and the Kirtland Cancer Foundation, which provides support for families of patients undergoing cancer treatment. OCMA - Final Call for Board Elections

Ballots for the OCMA election of officers will be coming out at the end of the week.  All positions on the board are open (candidates have been procured for many of the offices, but we can always have more than one), and we are especially in need of members at large for the current year ending July 1.  All parents of OCMS and OCHS Band and Choir students are eligible to volunteer for office.  Please contact Mr. Luxbacher at sluxbacher@mail.ocasd.org if you are willing to volunteer.

Hoagie Pickup Today!

Just a quick reminder that today is hoagie pickup from 3-5 in the high school AUDITORIUM (note change of location).  Park in the auditorium parking lot and come in the front auditorium doors.  Follow signs down the music hallway to the stage for pickup.  Please do not enter the building until 2:45.  Contact Mr. Cartwright or Mr. Luxbacher with questions.
