Region Chorus 2020

Congratulations to Micah Burkett, Lorin DeGroat, Katie Fye, Emily Gates, Layla Hollis, Brandon Huff, Logan Peterson, and Cassidy Webb who represented Oil City well at the PMEA Region II Choral Festival February 28 and 29 at Corry High School.  Emily Gates won a solo in one of the concert selections, and Layla Hollis chaired 1st in her section and will participate in the PMEA All State Chorus Festival in April at the Kalahari Resort and Conference Center in the Poconos.

Choir Photos - Wednesday, February 26th

Mr. Ellis from Jim Ellis Photography will be at school on Wednesday, February 26th to take pictures of the choir, and band members who did not get pictures at band camp. Photos will take place during your choir/band period, and everyone will be photographed for the composite. If parents would like to order photos, you can download and print the forms attached and turn in on photo day with payment. Contact Mr. Luxbacher with questions. Hoagie Pickup Tomorrow and Parent Help Needed

Hoagie Pickup for those who participated in the fundraiser is TOMORROW (February 11, 2020) from 3-5 in the High School Cafeteria.  Please do not arrive before 3:00 to pick up your subs.  Parents arriving before 3:15 should park in the football stadium parking lot.  Parent Help is needed for sorting and delivery from 1:45 on.  Contact Chris Huff (OCMA Preisdent), Elizabeth Ames (OCMA Vice President), Mr. Luxbacher or Mr. Cartwright if you are able to help.

Young Women in Harmony Festival 2020

Kudos to Oil City Students Hannah Krug, Layla Hollis, Courtney Crabtree, and Katie Luxbacher, who represented Oil City well at the Sweet Adelines Region 17 Young Women in Harmony Festival this weekend in Independence Ohio.  The ladies performed in an ensemble with young women from Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
